The weekend of July 23-25 at the Anaheim Convention Center, VidCon happened. 300+ of the most influential YouTube creators interacted with an estimated 20,000 online video enthusiasts, mostly of the 13-17 year old demographic. With dozens of sponsors on board, there were a variety of fun and interactive experiences for attendees to engage in.
FotoSpark was asked to bring two video booths out for Mitu Network to capture reactions of their #BurritoChallenge where guests spun a wheel of mystery ingredients to eat. There were lots of strange faces made, all in all in the name of good fun.
Attendees were incentivized to share the video on their social networks (Twitter and Instagram) using the hashtag #mituVIDCON, which they were able to do directly from the video booths. T-shirts were given away and an iPad was awarded as a grand prize.
We were busy non-stop all three days and enjoyed working with the staff of Mitu.
